Managerial Economics

Economics is the study of choices. Managerial economics is the study of managerial issues using economic approaches. Besides basic economic concepts, this course covers the following subjects: pricing, strategic thinking (game theory), externality, asymmetric information, incentives and organizations. The emphasis of this course is on the linkage between theory and real world applications. In addition to the cases in the textbook, the students are expected to study from their own real world cases.
