SHU are Cheerleading Champions again! The team blitzed the national university cheerleading championship on May 7 and 8 enabling SHU to take its 11th title – and the seventh in a row for the team – in what has become an iconic 15-year SHU tradition.
They were up against 86 teams from 43 universities, but coach Ms. Lee said SHU’s 15 hours of practice a day helped in their victory.
The team brought back a total of 2 gold medals and 1 silver, and had earlier in the year performed at Taiwan President Tsai’s inauguration ceremony.
