Introduction to Western Literature

This course consists of three parts: (1) Comparing the two major origins of Western Literature (Hebrew Literature and Greco-Roman Literature) and introducing their developments and key contents. (2) Discussing the process of how Medieval Literature connected old and new eras. (3) Exploring the rise of Humanism and its ramifications, and discussing its impact on later literature.
