Department of Public Policy and Management
The Department of Public Policy and Management (PPM) was founded in 1996, with mission to train outstanding administrative and management professionals. Students are trained with a comprehensive set of skills to aid in democratic reform, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public affairs, and to develop knowledge in human resources management. The Department currently runs four degree programs, including undergraduate, MA in Public Administration, EMPA, and the doctoral program.
The Department’s curriculum design is to offer interdisciplinary subjects encompassing political science, public administration, economics, management, computer-based skills and other basic science courses. In addition, courses are also designated to concentrations on policy analysis, public and non-profit management, and organizational behaviors in all sectors. The Department also provides a variety of required and elective courses in English for students to not only enrich their knowledge in the field but extend their professional horizon globally.
