Shih Hsin Radio Station
The Shih Hsin Radio Station’s first official broadcast was aired on September 1, 1958, which was held to celebrate Journalists’ Day in Taiwan. It was the first campus radio station in Taiwan with the purpose of offering students internship and research opportunities. It was also the only one station consisting of both carrier frequency, AM & FM and providing an online broadcast and smart phone radio app for both Android & iOS systems. Through this app, audience can listen to radio anytime, anywhere.
The Shih Hsin Radio Station AM729, "Scholar’s station," provides language-learning and living information for both Taiwan and overseas students. The FM88.1, “Pop music” station, is a popular station that brings a variety of music to everyone from classical music to the latest pop hits. After the all-round training within the above-mentioned systems, our students will be capable of doing any kinds of jobs related to the broadcasting industry upon graduation.
