The Audit Office, established in 2014, consists of the Chief Audit Executive and two auditors to conduct the internal auditing program. According to the relevant professional standards, the Audit Office conducts audit plans, comprehensive internal audit programs, and annual audit reports to complete all works objectively and justly.
The Audit Office assists the president and the University to evaluate and monitor the internal control quality, which has to meet two objectives listed in the internal control: Propriety and Reliability, Compliance and Efficiency.
The Audit Office independently monitors and audits any systems of internal control. The Audit Office also provides advisory services when the president requests a specific review. The mission is accomplished by collaborating with the Internal Audit Committee.
The Audit Office is responsible for assuring and enhancing the quality of academic and administrative excellence. The scope of internal auditing includes the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance in the University.
